Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Tranquil Days Guest House.  Our Policies and Procedures are listed below.  By booking with us directly or via a third party website you are agreeing to abide by all of our policies and are accepting responsibility for the reservation.

TRAVEL SAFETY

The safety and security of our guests and team members remain our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

We continue to maintain very high standards in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.

    • Our public areas are continuously cleaned with disinfectant

    • Hand sanitizer is available in the main foyer

    • We are certified in Food Safe and run a ‘commercial standards’ cooking area

CHECK-IN

Check-in is between 3PM To 9PM, or by prior arrangement. Guests will be required to present a valid piece of government issued photo ID and on request valid credit card.

CHECK-OUT
Check-out is at 11 AM. If you require a later check-out, please contact us before 9 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate. Early and late check-ins are not guaranteed. Charges may be applicable.
 
PARKING
We have limited on property parking available. We offer a spot for 1 vehicle per room. If you require additional parking please let us know with as much advance warning as possible. We will do our very best to accommodate.

HOUSEKEEPING

Towels will be replaced on every 3rd day of a reservation. If you require any room maintenance before the 3rd day of your stay we are happy to oblige once requested. Our staff will not enter your room unless a request has been made. We request that any dirty dishes/glassware is placed in the dining room for our staff to collect.

BREAKFAST

Our Chef prepared breakfast is served in the dining room or garden, between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Should you have special dietary requirements, please advise us in advance. A daily menu will be placed either in your room or on your door. We ask that the completed menu choices are placed in the basket provided in the dining room before 9pm, for the following day. If we do not receive your dining choices we will prepare a continental breakfast.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All room reservations have a 14 days cancellation policy. If a guest cancels more than 21 days in advance of their reservation, they will be refunded back the full amount of the deposit. Any changes and cancellations must be made 21 days prior 12 pm noon (EST). Cancellations received within the 21 days period will be marked as a no show and will incur on guest reservation booking and tax charge to the credit card on file.

PET POLICY

Pets are not allowed.

SMOKING POLICY

We are a non-smoking Bed and Breakfast. Smoking is prohibited at all times. If smoking has taken place in the house, a cleaning charge of $250.00 will be applied.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Guests must be 21 years or older to check in without a parent or legal guardian. A valid government issued photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification and on request valid credit card.

CHILDREN

Tranquil Days is an adult orientated Bed and Breakfast. We recognize that our guests wish to be surrounded by a tranquil and romantic environment. Although we love children, our accommodation’s focus is on creating an ambiance for couples. However, we welcome children when the entire house is booked by a single group. Please note we do not offer cribs or high chairs.

IN-ROOM/GARDEN PARTY POLICY

To ensure the enjoyment and to protect all of our guests, we observe quiet time from 10:30 PM until 7 AM. Hot tub and garden use hours will be strictly enforced.

HONOUR SNACK BAR

At Tranquil Days we offer a selection of snacks that will be available in the dining room. There is a sign out sheet that we request is filled out at the time of ‘purchase”. All applicable charges will be added to the credit card on file.

PAYMENT POLICY

In order for guest accommodations to be confirmed, at the time of check in all sufficient credit credentials for payment must be provided.
When a debit or credit card is presented for authorization, please be advised that a pre-authorization maybe be taken. Any applicable guest room charges, and taxes will be placed on the authorized credit card.

Accepted Payment Types: Debit, VISA, MasterCard, Cash
If determined that damages have taken place at the Tranquil Days by the Guest, we reserve the right to deduct from the Security Deposit/Pre-Authorization. The Guest also acknowledges and agrees that the Security Deposit amount will not limit the right of the Tranquil Days to exercise or pursue any remedy available in law or in equity for breach of this agreement, including, but not limited to, damages on appliances or finishes, furniture, or any other costs or losses resulting from the negligence of the Guest.
The Guest hereby also agrees that any lost or damaged keys, TV remotes, blow dryers, robes/slippers, will be replaced at Guest(s) cost and will be deducted. The penalty for lost keys is $50.
